This antique county map of Gloucestershire is from a rare little atlas entitled "The Abridgement of Camden's Britannia" and was published by John Bill in 1626. These maps were the first county maps to show reference to latitude and longitude in the left and bottom margins. This map is uncoloured as published. A pale stain in lower margin just encroaches image and slight worming left margin not affecting the image.

This miniature antique county map of Gloucestershire was produced as a playing card map by Robert Morden. 1680 - 1750. Original outline colour and is trimmed to the plate edge and mounted, as issued. Very good impression. Clean condition.

This idealized bird's - eye view antique map of Gloucestershire was published in "The British Monarchy" by George Bickham. The atlas title page is dated 1743 and the county views are dated from 1750 - 54, therefore the work could not have been issued before 1754 despite the fact that this map is dated 1751. The colouring is later.

An antique county map of Gloucestershire from "Pigot & Co.'s British Atlas". It contains a vignette of Gloucester Cathedral in the top right hand corner. Circa 1830-32. Later colour. Some marginal tears and one repaired tear in the top right margin which has entered one inch into the printed area.

This is map No. 2, of a set of three making up the route from London to Aberystwyth. This shows the section from Islip - Enton - Morton Inmarsh - Broadway - Pershore - Worcester - Bramyard.
