This rare antique caricature map of England and Wales is in the form of an old woman seated in profile on the back of a sea creature. Although unsigned it is often attributed to James Gillray originally published by H. Humphrey in London in 1791. The initials G.M. in the bottom right margin is believed to be the artist George Moreland. This map was published by Henry Bohn. Circa 1851. The colouring is later.

An antique map of England and Wales showing the major rivers and and a few canals. This map is a copper engraving but the name of the engraver is unknown. The figure 4 appears just outside the border in the top right hand corner. The name of the publisher and the date of publication is also unknown but this map is typical of maps produced in the late eighteenth century.

This antique map of Wales by Franz Johann Joseph Von Reilly entitled "Das Furstenthum Wales" shows counties, cities, towns, harbors, rivers, castles and bays. The Isle of Man in an inset in top left. The title is on a banner draped over a pedestal with broken column and decorated with leaves and flowers. The map was published in 1789. Original outline colouring.

Chart of the Bristol Channel including the coastlines of Devon and Cornwall with South Wales. Elaborate title cartouche to lower right corner incorporating a vignette portrait of Charles II. The chart with rhumb lines and compass roses. Circa 1681.

This antique map published by John Seller in 1694 was the first of the whole of Wales to show roads and the grid system. Note that the area now referred to as the Irish Sea is called "The Welsh Sea". It is in good condition and has excellent margins.
