This is a rare little antique county map of Durham, together with distance table engraved by Van Langeren and published by Thomas Jenner in "A Direction for the English Traveller" in 1643. Early outline colouring. Right margin fairly tight the bottom.

This antique county map of Durham by Robert Morden was first published in 1701 in a work entitled "The New Description and State of England" however, a subsequent edition by Herman Moll in 1708 added a compass indicator and other detail.

An antique map of Durham entitled Episcopatus Dunelmensis. Vulgo The Bishoprike of Durham. Millaria Anglica, 5 (=21/4 inches) Bearing The Royal Arma, and those of England and a coat without a name. Circa 1663. French text to verso. Original colouring, some browning to edges and to the bottom of the centrefold.
