This map by Lt. R. Owen Jones was produced by zincographic transfer to accompany the 1885 Boundary Commissioners Report showing the proposed new divisions of the counties for parliamentary and local government purposes. Top margin cropped close to printed border as shown.

A tiny antique county map of Denbighshire published by John Luffman in his atlas " New Pocket Atlas and Geography of England and Wales" in 1803. This atlas contained fifty four of these circular maps which measure 6cms in diameter. Beneath each map is an account of the county which includes its size, number of towns, parishes, houses and population and details of rivers, terrain, industry and products of the county.

This antique county map of Denbighshire from"The Geography of England" was published in 1744. John Cowley collaborated with Robert Dodsley for many years in the production of these maps and that is why they are popularly referred to as Dodsley/Cowley maps.

This miniature antique county map of Denbighshire was produced as a playing card map by Robert Morden in 1676. This map together with the whole of Mordens pack of cards were republished in 1773 by H. Turpin in a book entitled " A Brief Description of England and Wales". Original outline colour and is trimmed to the plate edge and mounted, as issued. Very good impression. Clean condition.

An antique county map of Denbighshire published in the 1637 edition of William Camden’s 'Britannia.' Initially issued in 1607, Britannia was the first publication that contained a complete set of individual county maps of England and Wales. The maps were based on the earlier work of Christopher Saxton and John Norden and were engraved by William Hole and William Kip. Blank verso. Wide margins beautiful early colouring.

This rare and curious antique map of Denbighshire was produced from the research of ARISTIDE MICHAEL PERROT in 1823. This map, a copper plate engraving, has original outline handcolouring. Some maps show a single county, but more often two or more counties were joined to form a group which is similar in industry, agriculture and terrain.
