This antique strip map is from the "Britannia" by John Ogilby, published in 1675. The colouring is later. This map is Number 98 of 100 maps in the atlas and is entitled " The Road from Shrewsbury and Chester to Holywell, Flint. From Shrewsbury to Ellesmere to Wrexham to Mould to Holywell. The second from Chester to Flint to Holywell.

A tiny antique county map of Denbighshire published by John Luffman in his atlas " New Pocket Atlas and Geography of England and Wales" in 1803. This atlas contained fifty four of these circular maps which measure 6cms in diameter. Beneath each map is an account of the county which includes its size, number of towns, parishes, houses and population and details of rivers, terrain, industry and products of the county.

A beautifully engraved miniature antique map of "Denbigh and Flint" by Pieter Van den KEERE. It was published in 1627 and is commonly known as a "miniature SPEED. The colouring is later.

An antique county map of Denbighshire and Flintshire from the "Theatrum Orbis Terrarum sive Atlas Novus" by Joannes Blaeu, published uncoloured without text on verso, in 1648. The colouring is later. Has The Royal Arms, those of Wales and The Prince of Wales' feathers.

This antique county map of Denbighshire from"The Geography of England" was published in 1744. John Cowley collaborated with Robert Dodsley for many years in the production of these maps and that is why they are popularly referred to as Dodsley/Cowley maps.

This rare and curious antique map of Denbighshire was produced from the research of ARISTIDE MICHAEL PERROT in 1823. This map, a copper plate engraving, has original outline handcolouring. Some maps show a single county, but more often two or more counties were joined to form a group which is similar in industry, agriculture and terrain.
