In 1612, Michael DRAYTON published the first edition of his "Poly-Olbion" which was a book of verse about the countryside of England and Wales illustrated by antique maps depicting Tracts, Rivers, Mountains and forests in each respective area. The final edition was published in 1622. The colouring is later. Except for the bottom marging the map has been cropped to plate mark.
