A beautifully engraved miniature antique map of "Radnor, Breknok, Cardigan and Carmarthen" by Pieter Van den KEERE. It was published in 1627 and is commonly known as a "miniature SPEED. The colouring is later.

A decorative antique map of the route from Radnorshire via Builth to Brecon. It is from the atlas "Brittania Depicta", published in 1720 by John OWEN and Emanuel BOWEN. It has been coloured by hand. The reverse side of the map shows the route from Montgomeryshire via Llanfyllin and Newtown to Radnorshire.

This antique county map of Breconshire is from a rare edition of "The Theatre of the Empire of Great Britain" by John Speed, published in 1616 with Latin text on the verso. The maps were generally published uncoloured, but a few copies of the atlas were coloured at the time. This map is from one of those scarce editions.

This rare and curious antique map of Breconshire was produced from the research of ARISTIDE MICHAEL PERROT in 1823. This map, a copper plate engraving, has original outline handcolouring. Some maps show a single county, but more often two or more counties were joined to form a group which is similar in industry, agriculture and terrain.
